Position Overview
The Virtual Art Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing art programs that support the emotional and psychological well-being of our clients. This role is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about art and its power to create connection and healing in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and facilitate online art workshops tailored to diverse groups, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals to integrate therapeutic art practices into our services.
- Curate a virtual gallery of client artwork to promote their expression and to foster community engagement.
- Maintain an online platform for interaction between participants, encouraging artistic feedback and peer support.
- Assist in promoting events and activities through social media and advertising to increase community participation.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and assessments, making data-driven adjustments to enhance workshops.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall mission of Hope Community Resources.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Therapy, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching art or facilitating art-related programs, preferably in a virtual setting.
- Strong understanding of different art mediums and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with digital tools and platforms for virtual communication (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for community service and commitment to promoting inclusivity in all initiatives.

Work Schedule
This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week. The working hours will be flexible to accommodate various clients’ needs, particularly in the evenings and on weekends.
