Position Overview
We are currently seeking qualified and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for our nurse jobs home based program. This unique position allows healthcare professionals to provide essential nursing services from their own homes while making a significant impact on community healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for patients in their homes, documenting medical histories, current health status, and care requirements.
- Develop individualized care plans based on clients’ needs, preferences, and professional assessments.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients’ progress and respond promptly to any changes in their conditions.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment options, nutrition, and preventive care strategies.

- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alaska.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience; home health or community-based nursing experience is preferred.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Proficient in computer skills and comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively while providing high-quality patient care.
